Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

In town on business and wanted pizza for dinner. So glad that Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom was my choice. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. I will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Old Chicago in Billings is hands down one of my favorite spots in town! Brittany, the casino manager, and her entire crew are beyond amazing. The staff is always upbeat, welcoming, and on top of their game — they truly go above and beyond to make every visit a great one. The promotions are always fun and well done, and I love how they fully decorate for every holiday. No matter the time of year, it feels festive and lively when you walk in. It’s clear they put real effort into creating an atmosphere people want to come back to. And the food… wow. Their pizza and wings are so good. Seriously — some of the best around. I saw they had cauliflower crust pizza and it didnt disappoint. Crispy and delicious. Great servers and bartender helped me pick a non-alcoholic beer. Great experience.

It was the "new" Old Chicago. Food is still the very downgraded versions of what it was when the restaurant first started, beer is still the very limited selection from the old days 100s of choices. Nothing exciting, just meh. Was an hour before closing when we got there, one waitress working was already checked out and definitely hurried things along. Just meh... if its late an nowhere else is open and you gotta eat something - this works. But thats about it.

Chicken tenders weren't cooked all the way, pizza crust was soft and felt undercooked, and service was not great. We drove 4.5 hours to Billings and our goal was a good meal...total fail on all fronts.
