Ola Seaside Grill

Ola has a unique menu where most would find something that they would like. We ordered the onion rings, fish basket and General Tao’s chicken for a variety to try. Our server/ bar tender was so very friendly and attentive and our food came with not too much of a wait. For the two of us, we took more than another meal’s worth home. The restaurant is very nice and clean. We will be back.

We stopped at just about every little cafe and grill along the island and in our estimation, Ola was just so-so in comparison. Parking was tough and after a long walk through the hotel and next to the pool, it was underwhelming. They didn't have a few simple menu items, like Lemonade. They weren't busy but the food took awhile and staff was friendly but distracted. We ordered the Wild Fries for a snack which were good enough and we thought they were a fun menu item. Otherwise, it was difficult to find a place to sit outside and the vibes were just meh. Unless you're staying at the hotel, it's not really worth the effort.

We ate here several times while staying in South Padre Island, and the food and service were both fantastic. We have to give a special shoutout to Ram. He was our server several times and was a gem! He would ask what activities we did during the day, remember things we had ordered previously, and interacted great with the kids. The food and price on their own were great, but the staff and service took things up another notch.

This place is AMAZING!! We stayed at Sand Rose hotel and this is the restaurant on site. It has great food and unbelievable pricing and affordability. Most meals are $7-10. Seriously!! Blowed away. Able to feed a family of 8 for $60. One night we got the pizza fries!! Let me tell you. This is a meal or appetizer for 6-8 people!! So much food! Service was great. If you sign up of the palm rewards and order through toast you’ll appreciate the rewards. In 2 days we had over $60 in rewards!! Wow!! The food was always ready with the quotes time. Highly highly recommend.
