Oki's Japanese Restaurant

Super small hole in the wall type restaurant. It only has one table inside. Woman at front is very friendly and her kids are super nice and can ring you up too. Food is delicious. I got the lucky lady!

Just spent $100 on food to go, won't be doing that again. Got home and have hair in my food. Not sure I want anything I bought here anymore. I know it isn't my hair as mine is long and colored and this strand is neither. 🤢

Everyone local has good things to say, I'm local and I've tried this place several times and I'm not impressed. Maybe I'm not ordering the right menu items. See photos attached but today I ordered chicken yaki soba and added and paid for extra chicken because the last time there was minimum protein in my order. Even with paying for extra, I had to look closely to find the bits of chicken. The noodles are however pretty good if you don't expect anything to go with them. I'm a crab ragoon fan and I knew going in that these aren't that impressive but still okay, today unfortunately most of the filling had cooked out making them a what's the point of even eating them kind of thing. I ordered the crab Rangoon and shrimp hibachi with no rice, extra veggies, and a salad with ginger dressing. Crab Rangoon was super fresh. The shrimp were nice and big. There was a nice variety of veggies, all cooked just right. Their yum-yum sauce is really good, too. Not too sweet, not too savory. The prices are very reasonable and there is definitely enough food to fill you up. I look forward to eating there again if I'm ever back in the area.

I don't know if they got a new owner or what, but this place has turned into one of my favorite Havelock joints. Their sushi is made well-great rice with just enough sourness, decent fish, and the right size. I have had a hard time finding noodles that taste like what you can find in California, but this place does it. The best noodles I've had in this area. Everything since they changed the menu has been fantastic.
