Finally was able to stop in around 4 PM on a Friday for their Lobster special. I ordered the lobster fried(never had it like that before) my wife ordered the lobster steamed. We had coleslaw and baked beans and cheese grits for our sides. The very friendly girl at the window gave us a buzzer to hang onto and said when it rings to come back and pick up our food. We picked a table under a very large tree since the tables under a metal canopy were pretty much filled. We waited about 15 or 20 minutes, then our device buzzed. My fried lobster was very tasty, the steamed lobster was awesome. The lobsters came with butter, at first the butter taste tasted pretty good with a touch of garlic, I think. Order at the window, have a seat out at the picnic tables underneath the massive oak trees, and all weather shelter to wait for your food. It's a steady stream of cars and people coming and everyone saying the same thing, this is the place to eat!! It's inexpensive compared to any seafood place we have ever been to. Order how you like it fried, grilled, or blackened. Comes with two sides of your choice. We ordered fried shrimp 🍤, buffalo shrimp🍤 and fried catfish. Everything tasted fresh and housemade. The grouper had a light batter and was very good. The snapper had a panko batter and was fried too long turning the panko dark brown and greasy. You order and pay at the window and pick up at the window. There is a big tip jar at the window I guess for the cook? Because a server doesn't take or bring your order to you. I have had better fish at other restaurants so I will not be going back here anytime soon.

Great food at reasonable prices! Freshest catfish you can find…..boat 🚤 to plate 🍽️ …….Awesome shrimp 🦐 dinners as well with 2 sides……Fresh brewed sweet and unsweetened tea. Peel and eat 1# steamed shrimp 🦐 with Old Bay and lemons 🍋 is filling in itself with no sides. Weekly eats! 💯

Always a awesome experience at Okeechobee Fish Company. Great food as always. Crowded today in the afternoon, swamp buggy group was hungry for a great meal and they chose Okeechobee Fish Company!! They know what's good in town!! Went inside and purchased some large wild caught shrimp for a nice dinner. Menu prices are in the pictures if you are interested in the prices and what they have to offer. Cheesy grits were so good and some fresh catfish fried up was a great filler for lunch. Fresh gator bites and fried shrimp was great. Fried okra was so good. Girls are always so nice at the order window. Come and enjoy some great food on the side of the highway.
