Oishii Sushi

Best sushi, friendly staff, and literally the largest nigiri sushi portions ever. I've had sushi from Cali, Florida, Louisiana, Japan and everywhere in between. If you're a sushi lover, in Louisville KY, and you don't come here. You have missed a treat of a lifetime.

I love sushi 🍣 and shrimp tempura .And my husband likes Chicken Teriyaki. Yummy!!

This is the best sushi in Louisville and well worth the price if you are a sushi lover. Here is a list of things I have ordered and love: Green Ginger Salad, Miso Soup, Uzura (Quail Egg Shot), Sake Nigiri, Maguro Nigiri, Wasabi Roll, Ned Roll, Oishii Fried Roll, UK Roll, Koi Roll and the I Green Roll. There are so many choices, that it can almost make it difficult to choose! My one complaint is that the pieces are cut a little too thick and can make them slightly difficult to eat at times.

Some of the best sushi and nigiri that I’ve had in the Louisville (if not the overall best)! Worth the price you pay with the portions being so generous. I’m not a huge fan of sake, but my husband liked it when we ordered it. But I also love how they have so many other options outside of sushi just in case you’re craving something a little different. We’ve tried several rolls in the past, but Thunder Over Louisville is by far my favorite! We’ve also ordered to-go and the sushi came well wrapped and prepared. Still just as good as if we were eating in.

Best sushi in Louisville. Fair price, fresh ingredients, family-oriented atmosphere. Can't believe I have lived here for 4 years and am just now trying it. Worth traveling to from New Albany!
