Customer Reviews
Customer service is great and you’re created upon entering. They have bathrooms and toilets seats have lid for those who care. No wait and rice balls are already made but lack filling. Kombucha samples are awesome and their ramen is outstanding. Octopus balls we’re great as well and everything taste fresh.
I will highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic and savory Japanese cuisine in Fairbanks. The best ramen in local 💯 💯 There is a station for homemade kombucha that really amazed and refreshed our taste. The perfect amount of sour, sweet, and fruity mix together. The husband of the owner is so hospitable and enthusiastic sharing info about the store and invite us for tasting. Really lucky to meet him!!!
Ordered their Tonkotsu ramen and popcorn karaage chicken. I'd say 7 out of 10. Im very strict reviewing Ramen since a lot of my family members used to work as a ramen chef and I been to many ramen spots in LA and Washington. Their broth base taste slightly bland and not as creamy as I thought. Their ultra spicy paste is solid but quite expensive for a small little paste of it. My spice tolerance is very high and their spicy paste is just right at 5 out of 10 spiciness level. It feels as if they use angel hair type of noodle, very thin and soft, which I really like. Their popcorn chicken karaage breading is okay, nothing too fancy. Service is almost non existant. I asked the young lady if they got any wifi I could use since I just got here from Washington and Tmobile is really bad but she
If flavor had a final boss battle, the Pork Bao Buns sandwiches I just devoured would be the undefeated champion standing atop a mountain of fallen taste buds. The moment they arrived, steam rising like mystical aura energy, I knew I was not in the presence of an ordinary sandwich. No. This was a full-on shōnen protagonist entrance. The buns themselves? Pillowy clouds forged in the hidden village of Dough. Soft. Fluffy. Slightly sweet. They weren’t bread — they were emotional support companions cradling destiny. And then… the pork. Tender. Juicy. Glazed with a sauce so rich and savory it felt like unlocking a forbidden flavor technique passed down through generations. Each bite triggered a flashback arc. The caramelized edges hit with that crispy “CLANG!” sound effect you’d see in bold
We tried the spicy beef buns, Takayuki (octopus balls), and chicken karage. No ramen. All the food tasted great. Small counter-service place located near a fuel depot. Worthwhile to visit and have lunch.
