GR’s Empanada House

A friend of mine from South America encouraged me to find empanada shops back in Phoenix where im from, and I've made it a mission to try and visit them when im on work trips. Absolutely fantastic food here, and I recommend it to locals and out of towners alike! If I had to suggest anything on the menu, the Diablo and Cheeseburger are both top notch staples, and definitely check out the weekly specials; all of the ones from when I went were absolutely delicious!

Hands down the best empanadas I’ve ever had! The employees were equally magnificent, definitely coming back before I leave Fairbanks.

I truly LOVE this empanada place in Fairbanks! Amazing and so darn delicious - top it with a great team. The owners and team are very welcoming, polite, and you can feel the positive energy when you walk in. I got a variety and highly recommend it. The shrimp and queso was my favorite, but yet to to have all their different ones. It is currently my favorite spot when I’m in Fairbanks and the only request to friends and families to bring back for me.

Delicious empanadas. We got our food in less than a minute, it was hot and delicious. The empanadas had a crispy golden brown exterior and a juicy meaty interior packed with flavor. This business focuses on one thing and does it very well. Will come again.

Amazing! The food was enjoyable and unique, with good portions. The cheeseburger and regular are very good 😼. The lady and guy behind the counter were very nice and I felt welcomed there. The atmosphere is nice, and the decorations (during my visit) made the place look cool! This place is a must go for people who are visiting, and for locals it's a good place to go for lunch hour. For a place that is smaller than your average restaurant, the quality makes it worth a whole lot more. (Seating option is small but great window view, example is the picture)
