Customer Reviews
The best hibachi grill we ate at! The food had taste and it’s not plain , they use garlic butter that brought out the taste of the food and was sooooo good! I don’t mind coming back here next time and we enjoyed our food and ate all our food. Was fun! The guys that cooked our food was funny and awesome! So will be back.
We had a horrible experience here. There’s so much confusion between restaurant workers. We asked for hibachi they said “Sorry there’s no hibachi”. My family and I got sat at a hibachi table which was weird, all far apart from eachother. Our server had no idea what was going on. We ordered (with great difficulty) off the non hibachi menu. Then a hibachi chef came in and started prepping. We were all baffled, he then realized he was in the wrong room. Oh well…. THEN, we got our food and I have never had worse food in my life. Everyone’s food was so cooked it was inedible. The pork was hard in my pork katsu curry, the steak you couldn’t chew, the salmon so rubbery it didn’t fall apart, the lobster tail had NO LOBSTER? And the chicken was so cooked it looked like rat tails. Our server Hubert
We love hibachi food, this occasion we visited for our daughter birthday and most of our family came, they were able to fit all around the same table and enjoy their master chef show preparing all our food. The ambience was great and the food delicious. We always comeback and highly recommend this place.
This is a chain. We didn't care for much of the food. The service was very good. It's a noisy place. We were going to go to the hibachi area. But there's so many loud kids there we opted to move to a different area. It's a noisy restaurant. Difficult to hear conversations. The staff was very good.
Wow. I have been a loyal customer of Ohjah for years—primarily the Flamingo & Hualapai location, and occasionally Henderson. I have spoken highly of it often, enough to choose it for my grandfather’s birthday and to bring him to the Sahara location for convenience. Unfortunately, the experience was deeply disappointing. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, service was inexplicably slow. After our food was delivered, there was no follow-up at the table. More jarring was the atmosphere: music so loud that conversation was difficult, if not impossible. What was once a calm, polished Japanese dining experience has been replaced with an environment closer to a loud American bar—minus the cigarettes, but also minus the restraint. The food itself was acceptable, but dining is more than food
