Stopped by for lunch during the off-season — what a pleasant surprise! The place wasn’t crowded, making it a relaxing spot to enjoy a meal. The service was excellent — friendly and attentive. Ordered Cod Taco and Fish burgers, the food was delicious, though a bit on the salty side for my taste. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth a visit!
Great spot in a very convenient location when staying in Sandwich. I love that it has different food choices, lots of beverages and music. It has a festival type of vibe. It was a popular spot the night we went but we found seating. Would go back again.
Ordered pulled pork tacos and sliced brisket (large). The tacos were more like quesadillas than tacos, and came with some watery-bbq sauce. The brisket was fine, but very plain and I had to add lots of sauce to give it flavor. The cajun fries were disappointing, they were just normal French fries with Cajun seasoning seasoned on top, and also a bit cold. The coleslaw was somehow flavorless? Not sure how but I do not recommend. Good live music though!
What a hidden gem! Off the Grid is one of those places that surprises you in the best way—simple setup, but the food? Absolutely delicious. We started with the Cajun fries, and wow—what a flavor bomb. The seasoning hits all the right notes: a little heat, a tangy zing, and just the right amount of salt. Totally addictive. My mom went for the Bus Fries with pork. Picture those same amazing Cajun fries, piled high with juicy, flavorful pork. Every bite was a savory delight. My dad had the bacon cheeseburger loaded with all the works. It was a hefty, generously sized burger, and he couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. No frills—just solid, satisfying flavor. I had the Sloppy Choppy, and it lived up to its name in the best way. A messy, mouthwatering pile of tender pork, crisp cole
Classic! And the name suits it to a T. Large outdoor seating area, to eat orders to go, or counter service. Juneau ( our dog ) and I just had the pulled pork sandwich, and it was probably the best I've ever had in regards to the portion and taste. Indoor eating and bar as well. Complimentary water outside.
