O'Crab Cajun Seafood and Bar

Ok - I was a little worried about seafood in Utah. I had never been here but have been wanting to try it out. As a local I figured why not?! So the entire family decided to go. In every way possible my expectations were exceeded. There is an amazing atmosphere. The service was great and a super friendly staff. And the food - it was AMAZING. There was even food for non-fish eaters. No one left hungry. My non-fish eaters in the family were pleasantly surprised that it didn’t have that “fishy” smell that permeated the restaurant. Everyone was happy and full. We had a great time, was not rushed in any way. I WILL be returning - I highly recommend to any seafood lover. I cannot understate how great it was and how it exceeded all expectations!!!!

My friend and I arrived there close to 7 pm on a Friday, and we were seated right away. We had a big booth seating (very comfortable by the way), and placed our order. We had a glass of Pinot Noir and ordered their special, added a bunch of seafood, such as scallops, shrimp, clams and squid. They came out very nicely in garlic butter sauce. We ordered a few more glasses of Pinot Noir while catching up with each other. By the time we satisfied ourselves it was their closing time. The staff who served us checked in to make sure we were okay. I would definitely go back there to try other dishes.

The food was great. Hush puppies were delicious and very well fried and probably some of the closest southern style I’ve had in a while. The drinks were good I really enjoyed the Blackberry Mule. The service was terrible. Our server barely checked on us and when she did it was a quick “how is it?” “Sweet” then she left. There were multiple times where we wanted to ask for a few other things but she left to quickly for us to even get a chance. If the service was better I would 100% be back but it wasn’t good enough to give a second chance.

My wife and I absolutely love sea food, but we live here in Utah and A. There's not much to choose from and B. We're not sure if we trust some of these places, being that we're nowhere near the ocean. A couple of months ago we decided to try O'Crab and went back for seconds on Valentine's day and I'm telling you, it did not disappoint. I wish I would have made a reservation for Valentine's, because we had to wait about 45 minutes, but it was worth it. The food is amazing, the service is great and I love how quite the place was, probably because everyone was so busy enjoying their meal. We now have a place to celebrate special occasions.

This place was really good! My husband and I shared a seafood boil. It was big and filling and perfect to share. The atmosphere of this place was really fun. They also have outdoor seating and a kid play area which is nice. Our 2 year old daughter loved the fries.
