Ocean View Paradise

This little gem is quiet and just far enough away from all the touristy stays to relax. It's perfectly located to easily get to any of the attractions on the island. You will need a car rental. The place is peaceful. The kitchen is a great size with an absolutely gorgeous dining view. Would definitely stay again and reccommend to my friends. As with many rentals on the island. The owner lives on site. However I did not see him unless I sought him out.

Our stay at Ocean View Paradise was truly a wonderful experience! We stayed in a two-bedroom suite, which was exceptionally clean and well-organized. The space had everything we needed and more, making our stay comfortable and relaxing. Troy, our host, was incredibly hospitable. He contacted us ahead of time to ensure we found the location without any issues, which we really appreciated. His attention to detail and warm hospitality made us feel very welcome. One of the highlights of our stay was the breathtaking ocean view. The house is located by the ocean, and we loved sitting on the porch at dawn, enjoying the beautiful view and the refreshing ocean breeze. It was a perfect way to start the day. If we visit the Big Island again, we will definitely return to Ocean View Paradise. Highl

We stayed here one night middle May 2025 and really wish it had been more. Remote and quiet which is what we were going for. I only wish I had brought some more groceries from Kona to cook. The little markets close by are really nice, but maybe a bit pricey. On second thought due to being a bit on the remote side maybe it was good for us to spend at least a little money at those markets to support keeping them in business.

PERFECT! RELAXING! QUIET! AWESOME HOST! Troy has provided a home away from home oasis for his guests. We stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it had everything we needed or wanted. Super clean and organized, bed and pillows comfy, plenty of room, lots of hangers, lots of towels, refrigerator and microwave, bowls, plates, cups, utensils, paper towels, night lights, and even robes and flip flops to use which we very much appreciated. We loved the outside shower; clean, private, nice hot water, quiet and serene. Awesome hot tub to relax and take in the star filled night sky. Felt like we were staying at my brother's or uncle's or best friend's house, because Troy makes you feel so welcomed. He truly wants his guests to enjoy their stay and has thought of everything to make that possible. GRE

We plan to stay for 2 nights before visiting the volcanic park. It's a lovely place and is absolutely clean! Troy is very willing to help and share anything he knows with us! We really look forward to our next following day!
