L&L Hawaiian Barbecue

My partner loved his meal and still raving about it. He said the following Cheep and cheerful, hot and fresh. Seems to be where the locals eat. Quick service with large portions. Although I got the katsu chicken and wasn't the biggest fan myself.

The loco moco here is solid, though it really needs some hot sauce or else it’s kind of plain. The kalua pork with cabbage was way too salty and not that flavorful, though I do appreciate it as a relatively healthy option (it’s not sweet). The mac salad was kind of drab (just pasta and mayo). Portions are very generous and service is quick.

They make a MEAN Barbecue Beef Sandwich, with a side of fries. Staff were alittle short on menu conversions for first timers, food was legit!

Easy to access spot with a lot of options - but not really a lot of BBQ options. The staff was friendly but had trouble understanding English. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were great. The food was good but generally average (a bit salty). The sitting area was simple but clean. But the bathrooms were in the next building over and were in terrible shape. And they had a TV in the corner playing a movie with a bunch of cussing.

We Ordered the fried shrimp plate, small plate, Came with rice and macaroni.
