Storefront was deceiving…inside restaurant, very clean even their white chairs & table. Owner was cleaning the lobster tanks when we got there. I ordered the fried oyster, although the oysters were a bit small, cooked perfectly. Outside crispy and inside juicy. Dipping sauce spicy and delicious. Had the stuffed bake Maine lobster. Normally this dish is a 1-1/2 pound lobster, they asked if I wanted a 2-1/2 pound lobster for an additional $20. It was very good! Will come again to try other dishes.
Accommodated our family of 7 late evening. Very friendly staff and great service. Food (fresh lobster, gumbo, calamari, linguini and cioppino) was delicious. Located in an inconspicuous strip mall but don’t pass it by — you’ll miss out on quality if you do.
Last time I visited Ocean Seafood Boil, I had a great experience with very tasty seafood boil, cooked to perfection. The portions were very generous and the pricing was way better than any other seafood boil spot I’ve tried. The seasonings actually very good and flavorful compared to hot and juicy or any other boil spots.. where the seafood boil seems watered down. Tastes like the real deal boil. This time I came to try more items like the clam chowder in bread bowl, and calamari appetizer. 10/10 flavor and creaminess in the chowder. Tasted perfect! Same for the calamari. Crispy and savory! I even got to try a sampler crab cake which is pretty good too! Thank you will come again 10/10 all around restaurant very clean, bright, fresh live seafood, and tasty meals!
Had the oyster and the Cajun seafood combo. The seafood overall just tasted not fresh at all. The oyster is stinky. I worry about food poisoning seriously. I don’t know why they get so many good reviews. It is definitely not worth the price for the quality.
Based on the reviews I had high hopes for this place only to be truly disappointed. The seafood is straight out of Costco. Not fresh at all. “Cajun” spice is not even spicy. It’s a little sweet. The platter is impressive when they bring it out but lacked so much flavor. The calamari was straight out of a freezer. I really wanted to like this place but with so many options close by, I don’t think I will be back. I am not sure how they have so many positive reviews but unfortunately this one doesn’t get high marks. Also the decor and atmosphere so uninviting. Server was nice but that’s it.
