Ocean Jade Kitchen

First time here and we are happy we tried it. Friendly staff and quick service. Pork lo mein was delicious and the orange chicken was amazing. Rangoons, egg roll and fried tempura shrimp also great.

while visiting ooh we ate at ocean jade kitchen twice … both times, extremely delicious meals were served, staff is incredibly friendly and ocean jade kitchen was really busy! despite being busy, staff held it together and i was so impressed! i would highly recommend ocean jade kitchen to anyone visiting oob.

Left my original review after eating here twice, now we go for every single date night! I would recommend to both locals and visitors to OOB, this is a must try place! We usually get a drink and an assortment of things to try, this last time we got a scorpion bowl and a pupu platter, both for two. The portions are generous, the price is really reasonable (honestly it’s cheap for Chinese food!) and the food is literally always on point. We couldn’t stop ourselves before taking pictures but here’s what was left!

I very rarely give 5 stars. A place has to be truly exceptional above others for that, & this place is. In 20 years I have not had veef terriyaki so good. It melts in your mouth. No muscley toughness, no overcooked dryness, just amazing. Everything was great but the terriyaki was just unbelievable. The woman who sat/served us was so incredibly nice, taking the time to explain what certain items were that most people may not be familiar with. Very relaxed, quiet, atmosphere. True of all my travels, the best places are off the beaten path. Definitely go here! we had: beef terriyaki, scallion pancake, jumbo fried shrimp, chicken fingers, egg rolls, fried dumpling & white rice

I reviewed this place at the beginning of summer. I had run for a quick takeout of chicken fingers and rice for my child. Excellent. Now I’m reviewing at the end of the summer, portions are still great. Service was great, this time I got the appetizer combo. I chose fried rice, steak on a stick, and double ordered crab Rangoon. I have to say the rice portion spot on. Two pieces of steak on a stick were tasty but a little dry, and the crab Rangoon was generous portion, but had a little filling.. I will probably try this place one more time to see if it is improved and order the same meal. I think you can do better on your crab Rangoon they should be filled and fluffy.
