Ocala Downtown Diner

Fresh and high quality food. Great service too. You could taste that the burger was a really fresh 80/20 high quality grind. The bun was excellent too. Nice snap to the bite, moist, good chew. They had some daily specials, and I would certainly go back and try something new.

I am so grateful to have recently discovered Ocala Downtown Diner!🙏🏻 My spouse and I are both vegan and this diner has a distinct vegan menu with an abundance of options. 🌱 💪🏻 We ordered the Smothered Stuffer, Vegan Breakfast Sandwich, Sweet Potato Fries with vegan mayo, and Fried Pickles with vegan ranch and everything was truly delicious! 🤤 Not only was the food yummy, but the employees were very kind and attentive. It was nice to be in such a warm and charming space where people from many walks of life can peacefully co-exsist 🕊️ I look forward to coming back to try more of the menu in the future ❤️

Service from the server was great but whoever was in charge or the owner is not a good person. I just wanted two hot dogs. I was told it was $5 for an extra hot dog. They bring me out one bun with two hot dogs on it (don't really see how that got confused but whatever) and I asked for a bun and got one, but after looking at my bill they charged me $3 for the bun. I wouldn't have even left this review if whoever was in charge would've came out and talked to me but they hid in the back the whole time the sweet server was trying to explain. They even told her to charge me extra for it. Do with this info what you will, but this tells me all I need to know about who's ever in charge of that place!

What a find for anyone, especially vegans! Typically, restaurants have 1 or 2 vegan options. If we're lucky but this restaurant has a full separate 2 sided, vegan menu, breakfast and lunch both served all day. The food was great came out fast and hot atmosphere. Amazing.

Excellent food and experience! Classic diner vibes with so many vegan options - Lisa was the best server and the breakfast burrito was delicious. Definitely coming back
