Hard-core authentic for foodies. Omg - pasteles de yuca (cassava), mofongo, pork belly chuleta, sweet plantain rolls filled with ground beef and cheese - so outstanding. The chef makes everything by hand and prepares to order. Heaven! I could write so much more but my food is ready! The chef is lovely and has lovely coffee available while we wait.

We tried the Chuleta KanKan and let me tell you… the size of this meat was HUGE (see pictures!) and the flavor transported us straight to la isla 🇵🇷🔥. The arroz con gandules y pernil adentro was absolutely amazing — full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We also had the mofongo y carne frita, and WOW. The mofongo was to die for — finally, a mofongo with enough salsa de ajo 🙌🏽. Every bite was on point. And let’s talk about the amazing lady who runs this food truck — she makes the most incredible homemade pique de piña. Seriously next level. Authentic flavors, generous portions, and pure island vibes. Highly recommend! 🌴🍽️🔥

I work at the golf cart store right beside this place. I didn’t even know it was there until I googled food near me. What a gem! I had the Plantain Sushi, it’s seasoned cooked beef and cheese wrapped in sweet plantain. It was fantastic! I ordered two and it was $12, I’m a big guy and it was filling! I can’t wait to try other things on the menu; the smells were amazing. They were so friendly and had my food done fresh in 10 minutes. It’s tiny, don’t miss it!

All of the orders are cooked fresh and service was amazing. Coffee is free with purchase and is a must while you wait. All of the dishes taste so good. It's a must try if you are in the area.

I always pride myself of finding great places that are not the most popular or reviewed places. We gave it a try to this little truck food place with two tables and it did not disappoint. I did the dish of the day, a chuleta frita and was great, especially the rice and beans. My wife ordered the mofongo and it was amazing. The free coffee was as good as you expect a boricua coffee to be. We met the owner, she is really great, kind and we were inspired by her hard work and motivation. Give it a try, you'll love it
