Oak Park Public Library - Michigan

Love me a good library. Library is nice and spacious and clean and not freezing in the summer. Nice big windows and comfortable chairs. Everything I look for in a library that makes it comfortable to work! Will return and would recommend.

Very nice, clean, bright library. There are desks for study and laptop work, with outlets and free wifi. Clean bathrooms, too.

This is a great spot for studying or working with a laptop. There’s plenty of parking, and the free guest WiFi—at around 40 Mbps—is fast enough for routine tasks. If you’re an Oak Park resident, you can easily get a library card by showing your ID with a local address at the front desk. This card allows you to borrow books and other materials. At this time of year, there’s ample space, and the desks and tables are comfortable, with convenient power outlets right on the desk (as shown in the attached images). Overall, a well-equipped and comfortable environment for focused work! Attached is the working hours for fall 2024.

Great library. Staff is friendly and provide great service. Library is very small, so after school it can get a tad loud. But, growing up a library nerd, I love the fact that young people still think of the library as a place to hang out. And I think the staff does a good job of allowing children to be children but not let the noise get out of control.
