Oak Lawn Public Library

Whether you're looking for a quiet place to work/study or a fun spot with your children, this library has it all. 1st floor designed for kids and 2nd floor for reading/studying/computer/printing.. Specifically there is a quiet room for study. The staff is very friendly, and the environment is welcoming. Some tables have puzzles 🧩 for a quick break on the 2nd floor which is great. Parking is free for 2 hours in front of the building, also you can find a street parking.

Clean Nice staff for the most part Bathrooms (CLEAN) needed to be updated plus the bathrooms were smaller than other libraries I have visited. Very large library but the parking is somewhat of a challenge and you must read/follow the signs or you will be ticketed. The charging situation is also another problem most table, desks and areas are without charging stations and outlets. This library is very micromanaged.

The kids zone was the best...children get to play without being told to shush or hush .they have tons of things for them to do including a scavenger hunt this day and they received a prize. Definitely will bring my children here again.

Beautiful library that has 2 floors full of so much to see. I love the kids zone! The play area is colorful, well organized, and clean. They offer many programs for all ages. This library is perfect to come and enjoy some quiet time and have your kids enjoy what they have to offer!

I haven't been to this library in over 10 years! I'm looking for a job. Went upstairs to the computers and had Ryan help me. What a breath of fresh air! This guy was so kind, knowledgeable and professional. Eager to help. They also have a large selection of books for sale. Will be back, thank you for the awesome experience!!
