Oak Hill on Love Lane Bed & Breakfast

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. An historic old house in a peaceful setting, with a wraparound porch where we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Our room was spacious and the bathroom was quite sizable as well. On our night here (a Friday), we had a delicious dinner and beer (me)/wine (wife) at lively Boojum Brewing; we enjoyed wandering in the shops afterward. This is a stop on the way to the beach that we will try to do again sometime for sure!

Oak hill is absolutely stunning and the history of the home is very interesting. The owner, Anna, is more than an outstanding host. Her cooking is out of this world, the rooms are very clean, and the property is beautiful and welcoming. I had an issue with my vehicle during my visit, while trying to get somewhere important, and Anna went out of her way and made sure I got there. I was more than pleased with being a guest!

We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Oak Hill on Love Lane. The room and bed were both very comfortable, but the highlight of the visit was Anna's cooking. We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed a delicious dinner on the porch (chopped shepherd's salad, hearty soups and trout piccata with mashed potatoes and spinach). The food and setting were both perfect! Breakfast the next morning (cooked to order) was also outstanding and the location was convenient to the golf courses that we were playing as well as downtown Waynesville.

Anna, the owner and host is a true delight. The house is beautiful and the scenery is breathing. Anna's breakfast is delicious and leaves you looking forward to the next morning to see what delicious food will be waiting. My husband and I stayed on the Bobby Breeze room and it was perfect, bed was very comfortable and the room was so peaceful. My husband even had a midnight meal with Anna, and loved it. Anna is a wonderful person and made us feel like we were at home. I highly recommend Oak Hill. We will be back!

I wish I could rate this more then 5 stars. This was a perfect place to stay for our romantic getaway for the two of us. The hostess here, Ms. Anna is fabulous. She caterers, to any and all needs that you may have. She is a phenomenal cook, and you will not go away hungry. This place is so different from any other bed and breakfast that my wife and I have stayed at. The meals here are cooked individually and catered to what you like. Unlike other places where they just cook, one thing for everyone to eat. If you're looking for a bed and breakfast in Waynesville, this is a must stay place.
