OAK Artisan Cookary is a true gem! From the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us with warmth and professionalism that set the tone for an exceptional experience. Our server, Carla, was outstanding—friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure we had a great time. And the pizza? Absolutely phenomenal. Every bite was a perfect balance of fresh ingredients, artisan craftsmanship, and bold flavor. You can taste the care in every slice. Between the incredible food and top-tier service, OAK Artisan Cookary delivers a dining experience that’s hard to beat. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great pizza and even better hospitality!

In my opinion, this is the best restaurant in Hanover. The ambiance, homemade pizza and pasta, and thoughtfully crafted cocktails make it truly special. The pricing is surprisingly reasonable, and the cozy setting works just as well for a quiet seat at the bar as it does for gathering with friends.

So far the place is great, need to return and try other dishes before updating review! First time i visited it was pretty crowded (weekend) and i asked a few questions about a sizeable group being allowed in and kids, they have two high chairs for kids and anything over 8 people needs a reservation with anticipation (understandable). Be mindful of making reservations as they have cancelation policies in place for your group or part of not showing up with a hold of 25usd per person. Any group over six can not split checks and has an automatic 20% gratuity included. Now on to the food, it is a novel idea from what i have seen in hanover the taste is pretty similar to food i used to eat in new york city its great and savory the few things i tried i would suggest for the "snack" portions note

It was pretty busy on a Friday night but I had no problem walking in and getting a table without a reservation. Lots of people sitting by the bar but also lots of tables available. Modern vibes for sure- I ended up ordering the bolognese after my initial order ran out as I ordered. Tasty, although not the biggest portions. Solid spot!

Oak delivered an absolutely outstanding experience on New Year’s Eve. The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and festive without feeling overwhelming—perfect for celebrating a special night. Every detail felt intentional and thoughtfully done. The menu was perfectly curated, offering a great balance of creativity and comfort, and the food was exceptional from start to finish. Each dish was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. On top of that, the service was wonderful—attentive, friendly, and professional, even on such a busy evening. Oak truly made our New Year’s Eve memorable, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommend!
