Oak Brook Public Library

Nice library with the usual amenities and a cute little kids play area with a big train table, lots of puzzles, a big busy box and a dollhouse, plus of course tables and lots of books. Edit: Sept 2024 and still just as nice and clean. You can check out boxes of trains and boxes of furniture and dolls for the dollhouse at the kid's area desk for your time there even without being part of this particular library. There is a kid's bathroom in the kid's area with a little potty!

Beautiful library with a large selection of graphic novels. Lots of activities such as train sets, coloring pages and a computer lab for kids. Many fun monthly events too for all ages that I would recommend checking out!

Staff is friendly and very helpful. Needed assistance eith scanning some important documents and then uploading them and then submitting them to unemployment site. The librarian was very friendly and helpful in assisting me in these tasks. Today I received assistance in printing off of my laptop. Again very helpful staff. This is go to library and I don't live in Oakbrook.

Such a nice library!!!

I haven't come in a long time because of the horrible and unsanitary building. But I just went yesterday and it's so much more cleaner then a year ago. I am very surprised of how clean it is now the bathrooms are so much more cleaner looks like they clean them every 2 hours. The shelves are not as dusty anymore library always looks clean now. Great experience a 5 star library!
