I’ve been wanting to try Beatrix for a long time, and I finally got the chance to go with a friend during Chicago Restaurant Week—and it did not disappoint! The $45 special included a drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic), appetizer, entrée, and dessert, and everything was delicious. The highlights for me were the caramel pie and chocolate cake—both were super rich and decadent. I literally had to eat them in “dosages” 😂, but they were so worth it. Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful with the menu, which made the experience even better. The interior is beautiful—sleek, modern, and inviting. We have patronized The Oakbrook Beatrix often and have enjoyed the food and service. We went for Restaurant Week and to celebrate my mom’s birthday. There was a good selection on the menu. Most of our choices were well prepared and very tasty. The Korean chicken tenders seemed a little dry, but were seasoned well. The service initially started out well, but then our server became less attentive to our table even though the restaurant did not appear to be extremely busy. I also had to speak with the manager because our bill had to be corrected twice with our server. The manager was pleasant and very helpful with billing error.

I had Beatrix on my list since it kept coming up as one of the most recommended brunch spots in Chicago, so we went on Presidents Day Monday. The wait was not ideal, about 25 minutes, but once the food arrived it honestly made up for it. We ordered the shakshuka, avocado toast, miga egg scramble, and the tall chocolate cake. Everything was delicious. I especially loved the avocado toast with all the toppings. It felt fresh, balanced, and really satisfying. The miga scramble had a great Mexican twist, and the combination of avocado and salsa worked so well together. The chocolate cake was rich and indulgent without being overly sweet, which I appreciated. Definitely one of the better brunches I had during my Chicago trip. I would happily come back again for brunch next time.

This place was so warm in a comforting way with the cozy lights, greenery and boho/chic aesthetic. The service was amazing, they asked questions and sat us down right away. There was 0 issues and the workers were fast and efficient. I personally loved the caramel pie 10/10. The workers had good energy and were very accommodating. The menu has a wide variety of dishes for everyone! Definitely check out the desserts! I will be coming again.

Came to celebrate a friend's birthday! Our second time here! Great place... our waiter, Roger, was awesome. Many gluten free options. Safe for those who have Celiac with a completely gluten free frier.
