Nutmegs Cafe

Nice spot for lunch, shabby chic decor that seemed a little tired. Popular for lunch. My food was ok, I had a Reuben, but not memorable. They seemed to have nice frosted cupcakes but I am watching calories so I had to pass on those.

Went to Nutmeg‘s Café for the first time today. Awesome service and awesome food! Order food at the counter and the servers bring to your table. Counter staff and servers were excellent! The ambience of the restaurant has a cool vibe with a lot of colors and interesting things to keep your attention. Quiet so you can have a meaningful conversation while enjoying the great food! Definitely recommend!!

We stopped here on our way across the state and will definitely stop again! I got the Chef’s Kiss- a baguette with candied bacon, avocado, fontina cheese, and a basil Mayo- and it absolutely deserving of that name! It was delicious and the size of a small baguette! Side note- you can’t get it as a half panini and soup but I ordered the White Chicken Chili anyways, which was also very good (thick with white beans and I’m thinking they purée some to thinker the soup- I wasn’t mad at it!). Sweet tea on point and clean one stall bathroom.

Stopped in for a casual lunch. I ordered the tuna salad and chicken salad combo plate. It was so good, light and refreshing for a hot day like today. The tuna salad was good, but the chicken salad was the star of the show! It was perfect. Going back later for a coffee treat :)

Nutmegs is one of my favorite places to eat! I always order the chicken panini sandwich, and it is consistently delicious. The service is always friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere—I definitely give Nutmegs five stars!
