Nova's Breakfast & Brunch

From the looks, you can immediately tell it's an old Waffle House from the outside. Once you walk in, definitely an old Waffle House. However, the vibe is totally unique. Nova is a fitting name. The menu is "nerdy" and the taste is explosive. We tried their Avocado Coffee. Yes. Avocado Coffee. Very inventive, especially for Pineville. There are so many amazing menu items that's creatively named (Sorry I was so caught up and being super early. I forgot to take pics except for the one site pic after the rush has cleared before another rush of people about to walk in as we were walking out). We stopped here lunch and really enjoyed it. The menu had a good selection, with suitable options for the kids. The staff’s friendliness really stood out. They were very polite and always smiling. The food was great. I recommend stopping in here if you are in the Pineville area.

Service was great very welcoming. Both the servers were sweet but the service was way too slow. After ordering food was very late. I think there was only one person working in food prep. Not a lot of sweet breakfast items like waffles or specialty pancakes

I have desperately wanted to love this place!!! We’ve tried it 3 or 4 times- the latest being 2 days ago after a year of absolute hell I decided to treat us to a breakfast to go. The bacon was halfway raw- not crispy at all! I tried to crisp it back up myself. My fried eggs were burnt. That’s a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I had to peel off the burnt layer and just shove them down. The grits were wayyyy too cheesy- almost like the lip puckering salty of too much pecorino. I’m just being blatantly honest. It breaks my heart to give this honest review because I truly wanted to love this place. We spend our money on extras like this very rarely, and strike three times. I highly recommend the Bentley Room. They’re 10/10.
