We hosted a private event with Nouveau Monde at Antoinette’s, and the experience was absolutely incredible from start to finish. The hospitality was top-tier — attentive, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. Every detail was handled seamlessly, which made the entire night feel effortless and special. A huge shoutout to Julian, the bartender, who was phenomenal. Friendly, skilled, and engaging — he elevated the entire experience and kept the energy perfect all night. If you’re considering a private event or special gathering, I couldn’t recommend Nouveau Monde more highly. Truly exceptional.

Nicely curated wine bar with a large wine selection. Service is very good! We only had an appetizer of crab cakes, but they were delicious. Will be back for lunch/dinner in the future. The wine was very good as well.

Lovely spot for a nice dinner. We enjoyed the ambience and the service was very attentive. The view was nice and the chairs were quite comfortable. My recommendations: 1. Cocktail: Spring in Japan 2. Appetizer: Local burrata 3. Main: Pork chop (the table’s favorite, very moist with really delicious grits) 4. Dessert: Limoncello mascarpone cake

This place is a real gem. The atmosphere is great, but what really shines here is the menu (food & drinks) and an exceptional level of service you'd expect to find in NYC or Boston. Food: Great balance between classic & modern techniques. I'm a carnivor and there was plenty to choose from but my wife is vegetarian and she was impressed by her options. Drinks: Well thought out cocktail menu. A Wine List that will have your jaw hit the floor PLUS service staff who can talk about pairings, know when to offer decanting service and top off your glass at the right moment. We absolutely love this local restaurant. If you are in or around Newtown/Sandy Hook, be sure and check it out. The pork chop was absolutely delicious, and my wife really enjoyed the scallops. My daughter had the salmon with a curry, and it was wonderful. We tried the truffle deviled eggs, wow!!! Outstanding service and beautiful upscale New England feel with being stuffy inside the restaurant
