Not Justa Bar & Cafe

Friendly, fast service, good food. Stopped in for a quick breakfast while at work. Seated immediately. Madison was great and made sure I was good the whole time. Ordered the breakfast sandwich on rye and it was great.

Came for breakfast, the bartender with black hair bartending had an attitude like we were inconvenienced by coming here. Ordered steak and ordered it medium rare. She asked if I wanted the tips or filet. Ordered the filet. Not sure if she heard me or not but she then rudely asked again. Would not let me order without being interrupted. Steak was well done. She took the steak back and gave us a new one. The second one was even more cooked than the last. She proceeded to say “I’m not cooking it it’s not my fault, don’t take it out on me”. All I said was the steak was even more done. Another in our group asked about the food since they were in the bathroom and she goes “like I said before it’s all being remade”. Honestly I just wanted my food made right. The service was horrible. Will not be

Oh boy! I used to frequent this place with my grandma as a child and I loved it! It was filled with charm and character and a warmth you couldn’t find many other places. When she passed early last year I decided to revisit this place in honor of nostalgia and boy was I disappointed….this place was gutted of character and love. Gray floors….white walls….who thought this was a good idea. Sad to say I will not be returning here.

Came in for breakfast. No wait. Husband ordered steak & eggs- steak (med)was literally 'blue'. Was seared on both sides and that was it. Assuming it was frozen as to why this happened. I ordered the bagel breakfast sandwich special with hashbrowns- Everything just tasted like oil and was hard to eat. Only made it through about half. The hash browns were cooked awesome- super crispy.

I had the chicken fried steak and it was delicious and huge. Couldn't eat it all. The service was great. Its a small Cafe but comfortable. There is another side that I didn't realize, that is the bar side. So you can have cocktails.
