Northwest Soup & Sandwich Company

My husband and I recently moved to Winsted and have been excited to try out the local establishments. Today we stopped by Northwest Soup and Sandwich Company for our first local spot. We will definitely be making this a regular habit!! I ordered the BLT and my husband ordered the Big Burger. We were surprised and delighted that the Big Burger comes on a freshly toasted sub roll, meaning you can get it in either six or twelve inches, and my husband ate happily until he was stuffed. My BLT was one of the best I’ve ever had, and having grown up in the south, that’s saying something! Notably, the tomatoes were super fresh, and perfectly prepared - sliced super thin and seasoned with salt and freshly cracked black pepper. That same freshly cracked black pepper also shines in the 4 cheese tomato

Today me and my bestie decided to try this restaurant and it was the bomb. She had the pesto chicken grinder and I had the 8oz tomato soup and it Soo yummy. I also tried her grinder and the bread was just perfectly toasted where you get that crunch but it's so soft and fluffy at the same time , something that you never will experience at any Subway. Now let's get back to that soup I don't know what kind of witchy potion they be brewing in there but it's definitely got a spell on my taste buds. Can't wait to go back and try other things.

Just got done with the Italian grinder with a honey Chipotle sauce on it. Was absolutely fantastic! Everything was fresh! Can see your sandwich being made and the dining room does have a cozy feel to it despite it's smaller stature! Chicken chowder was great as well! The price is a little above avg, but that's to be expected from a small business but the quality of the product is worth every penny! Don't miss this shop as you drive by, it doesn't have the greatest street side visibility, but anytime that I am in the area, I am going to make sure to stop by!

The soup is so delicious! The creamy potato bacon cheddar is our favorite and the spicy sausage and potato is a close second. We haven't had a soup there we dont like. They are all amazing! The sandwiches are delicious as well. Especially the chicken cutlet blt and Brian's Bomber!😉 Always friendly service! A hidden gem in Winsted

Today I had the roasted butternut squash bisque soup and oh my was it good! Smooth and hearty! 10/10 flavor and the guys are amazing as well!! Always a pleasure eating there!! Give then a try!!
