McGrane's On The Green

We parked on the street right next to the restaurant. Self seating but we're greeted right away. The coffee and juice came out fast. The breakfast portions are big and tasty. We toast had just the right amount of butter.

From the jump, had a good feeling. The waitress wasted no time, we were served coffee and water fast. I got my usual, biscuit, sausage gravy, lightly scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, and wheat toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and high quality and perfect quantity - i was hungry. Deb got a bacon, fried egg, cheese, on hard roll, corn muffin grilled and buttered perfectly. She raved, very pleased. The owner spoke with us about his Yankees/ red Sox display, there's a story. Not my cup of tea. Service was good. Food was just ok. There seems to be an emphasis on fancy over flavor.

Staff is extremely rude and incompetent. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and Texas toast. My order took over 30 minutes to make and I didn't even receive all of my food. Had to drive all the way back (15 minutes) to get the rest of my order and the woman employee lied and said that my food was left behind. She lied!! I believe they tried to scam me out of food. The sandwich looked like someone grabbed it from a blender and the food had absolutely no flavor. Also very very dry. When we explained that we had to drive far to come back for our food the woman employee was extremely rude and told my wife "that's not her problem". I will NEVER waste another dime in this place and the owners should be ashamed to have employees representing their business with such unprofessionalism. Horrible food,

My family and I love to go on random drives each weekend just to explore our state. During those drives we decide to support and eat at local businesses. Today we stopped at McGrane’s, we were greeted and allowed to choose where we wanted to seat upon entering. The breakfast offerings were ample. My wife and I ordered the All American and my daughter the stackable combo. The All American is eggs your way, with meat option, home fries and toast w/ coffee and the stackable comes with eggs and your choice of waffles or pancakes. Everything came out relatively quickly and the portions were great and the food was good. My only problem was with service - maybe because this has a locals only vibe or it could have been just me but the servers came by only once after we were seated from when we o
