Northern Wings Cafe has been wonderful to work with! The owner may seem quiet, but she is genuinely kind and accommodating. She customized my first cake to meet allergy needs, which turned out absolutely delicious and stunning to look at. The second cake was made for me on very short notice—within just two days of ordering—and I can’t express how much I appreciated that. Both cakes, as well as a set of cupcakes, were not only beautiful but also incredibly tasty. I’m so grateful for her work and will continue to order from Northern Wings Cafe in the future!

April is the real deal!! She’s sweet, understanding, professional, and creative! She crafted my birthday cake perfectly from the inspo pics I sent her and helped make this birthday the best one Ive had in awhile. I placed an order with Northern Wings bakery November 20th for a pick up for December 31st. I sent a specific design I wanted and baker agreed to be able to do it. Upon arrival to pick up my cake, I was told that the “picture” that was supposed to be edible was all just paper and that it must be removed since it’s not for consumption. There was no mention of the edible ink printer not working prior and I find that to be pretty unprofessional giving I spent $80 for a cake. With this being said, the picture vaguely matched what I requested and the word “ matrix “ was not on the cake. I will be attaching what I wanted vs what I got as well. When taking the cake paper off, all of the frosting even the green border came off. I specifically wanted black frosting and got green. There were no numb

Excellent bakery. I ordered a custom cake, white layer, chocolate layer, raspberry filling, with a thinner butter icing - perfection! The balance of cake to icing, with the raspberry filling provided enough sweetness to satisfy a sweet tooth, yet not so much that the butter cream overwhelmed the other flavors. Sugar cookies - just like homemade :) Also, friendly and helpful service.

I gave her two stars because the Barbie cake was cute, but the animal cupcakes were hideous. I ordered frosting animals with a bit of fondant on them for noses, etc. she made me cupcakes with edible paper cut outs on them absolutely hideous. They’re an embarrassment to even put on the table. if she couldn’t do them I would’ve preferred she just told me that and I would have got cupcakes elsewhere. I guess I’m looking for another bakery. I will never go back again.
