Muncie's best kept secret, Northern Tropics has been serving outstanding craft beer since February of 2022. Beers range from Stouts to IPA, all of which are original recipes by the owner, Ted Burrell. Great for a quick one or with a group of friends, or take home a growler of your favorite micro brew!!! Was shocked at how much I loved this place. Little brewery with man cave feeling on the same grounds of a nursery. Tons of beers to choose from. Breweries much bigger don’t have as many taps. Owner is friendly. Perfect place to have a beer while the wife shops for plants

The other 5-star reviewers nailed this local treasure. We came for the plants and stayed for the beer - which is some of the best local brews we've had in Indiana. We're not IPA drinkers, so we can't vouch for them, unfortunately. Ted's got some great stouts and porters, though, and we think a killer Märzen. We love the local regulars. This is our best choice over the other local breweries if we can make during his open hours.

good neighborhood brewery. True to style. the owner was nice and helpful. I enjoyed the three beers I had. Since they don't serve food, no kids allowed unfortunately.

Wonderful atmosphere to wander around and explore lushious greenhouses full of beautiful plants or sit and enjoy an island vibes filled beer room full of 12+ fresh brewed adult beverages on tap! Hidden treasure in Muncie! Short drive off I-69. Tell Ted (the brewmaster) I sent you. Good people there.
