BAYLEAF Indian Restaurant

Before going there yesterday, I would have said I didn’t really like Indian food but after the first visit to BayLeaf, I’m hooked!!! I can’t wait to go back. We tried a lot of different items (Dani Puri, Samosas, Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Chili, Chicken Fried Rice, and Butter Chicken) and absolutely every bite was phenomenal!!!! Seriously - this restaurant is clean, friendly and the food is beyond awesome!!! Who knew I could not only like, but LOVE Indian food now?!?! Thanks BayLeaf!

Where to start? The food here is amazing! I got the paneer tikka and my wife got the chicken do-pyaza. Cooked to perfection. The basmati rice was deliciously fragrant. The garlic naan was a perfect balance of fluffy yet crisp, and the flavor was out of this world. But for me, the SAMOSAS WAS A SHOWSTOPPER! 12 out of 10! The tamarind chutney was absoluty devine. The customer service is TOP NOTCH! You can tell that they care very much for pleasing their customers. The atmosphere was great! Very cozy yet modern. The price is great for the amount of food you get. If we are ever back in town, we will undoubtedly return. Bottom line... YOU MUST STOP AT BAYLEAF!!

Stopped by for dinner and had a wonderful meal! I got the chicken biryani and the chicken was tender and flavorful. The rice was perfectly fluffy and the sauce that came with it was delicious. The garlic naan was melt in your mouth goodness. The overall atmosphere was very cozy and the service was excellent. Will absolutely be back to try more from the menu.

The food was very good. The service was very friendly but a little slow. I would come back again. We had the Tandoori Mix Grill. The Tandoori Mix Grill had the Tandoori Chicken, Tandoori Shimp, Chicken Tikka, Lamb Kebab, Chicken Malai Kebab, and Tandoori Fish. Everything very was tasty but the fish was moist but taste was just average. The Garlic Naan Bread taste also average. Overall great food.

Chicken Malai Kebab (black cast iron plate) Lamb Takka Marsala (in bowl) and Garlic Nann. This food exeded our expectations. We haven't had much Indian food, Jay's tai food in Marion once. Bay leaf was amazing. You won't be disappointed.
