Best cherry pie in Door! A hint of cinnamon, not sweet and real cherries not a pie filling. Must get the pizza!! One of the best on the peninsula, homemade sausage make it special. Salads are fresh and full of fun local ingredients. Stays open late.

Absolutely loved our (multiple) visits to Northern Grill during our last visit to Door County. Charlie and Lena and the staff are the nicest people, the atmosphere is great, and the food is absolutely top notch. We had the breaded walleye and the chicken parm. Delicious. A must visit.

I didn't have high expectations. The place didn't seem updated, or as modern, but definitely a pub feel. Maybe just getting rid of the dingy old carpet would have helped the atmosphere. The food was better than expected, but still just ok. For $30 you could get the fish fry, but wasn't worth the money. I got pasta and while it was good, it wasn't worth the price, but I do appreciate the amount of food you get.

We visit NG a couple times a year including May 2025. As soon as you step in the door you’re greeted with smiles, hellos and welcome! Charlie is a knowledgeable and talented bartender. Jenna is sweet and attentive. Thanks for the great service and delicious food. Perfect atmosphere and welcoming environment.
