North Shore Lookout Maui

Honestly amazing place, favorite stay of our trip in Maui and Kauai. Josh's breakfasts were easily some of the best meals we had during our trip ( sorry, but his banana bread is better than aunt Sandy's) Capaccinos he made too were better than any others I had over the next two weeks. Beautiful property, nice rooms everything was as listed. Great people that also recommend great restaurants and things to do in the area. Mahalo Josh and Shannan!

This B&B is away from any touristy areas of Maui, situated up-country past Makawao Town. It’s quiet and serene, with amazing views of the island. There are many small retreats in which to relax, a lava rock swimming pool with a jacuzzi, and a delicious breakfast served 6 days a week. Ideal for honeymooners or anyone who wants privacy. We stayed here after a week in Kaanapali, to have easy access to up-country and the north shore. It’s a beautiful, serene property with a great view of the valley and west Maui, which you can enjoy from the pool, hot tub, and dining patio. Their rotating breakfast menu was a fun (and generously portioned) way to start the day, and Josh and Carly were so friendly and helpful. We took advantage of many of the amenities, like the outdoor gas grill and laundry room, and we really enjoyed the record player and ukulele in our suite. We loved getting a view of the donkeys next door, spotting frogs at night, and greeting the resident cat. This was my favorite stay out of our Maui vacation!

We spent our honeymoon here. It was such a quiet magical place. You could easily see the stars at night. The outside is filled with different plants and flowers. The layout of the whole place is perfect and every detail has been thought of. We stayed at the Hoku suite. Again, the details of the suite was perfect. Our suite felt very private and cozy. Our hosts, Josh and Shannon were lovely. Every morning, Josh brought us breakfast on the patio. There was a great variety of different breakfasts each morning. Our favorite was the cinnamon buns with macadamia nuts and caramelized bananas! Than you so much Josh and Shannon for making our honeymoon unforgettable. I'm hoping we will make it back for an anniversary.

This was by far my best stay in the Hawaii islands. The location is beautiful. So many nearby attractions for hiking and exploring. The best mexican restaurant is just a few miles away- Polli’s. Your parking has a sign identifying your room. If possible try and arrive during the day as navigating is much easier.
