North Pillar Brewing Co.

This was an unusual visit, not as regular customers but attending a fundraiser for a local charity. It was very kind of North Pillar to support The Women's Center! The regular menu is only beer/liquid; food can be purchased outside and brought in. (We got food from the food truck outside.) The atmosphere is nice looking and very minimalist in its decor. Bar seating and mismatched tables and chairs make it easy to combine tables for party sizes as needed. The noise level is extremely high with cement floors and no sound buffers. It was exhausting after a short time. And this may be the issue with the event, but the organization behind the bar was messy, and it was hard to get a drink quickly. I've been meaning to leave a review since this spot opened. North Pillar is a true gem and something that makes me proud to be from Waukesha. There aren't many breweries around these days that produce beers that were made with such love, craft, and attention to detail. After living in Milwaukee for 6 years and watching one of my favorite breweries, 1840 close its doors, I never thought I would find another spot like it. Trust me. North Pillar is it. Waukesha is lucky to have you, and if you find yourself wanting to make a drive out to this little suburb. Do it. You will not be disappointed. Cheers!

Stopped in for a quick beer. Had the “forward pass”… had great flavor. My wife had the “pressed for time” sour… awesome! Chill atmosphere nice guys working the taps. Would definitely come back.

A newer brewery in the area with a good selection of beers. Enjoyed the sours and the IPAs. Will definitely be back.

We’ve been meaning to check out North Pillar Brewing for a while and finally made it in with the family—glad we did! The service was excellent, and the space is large, casual, and welcoming. It's definitely family-friendly, with board games available and a laid-back atmosphere that made it easy to relax. The beer was great—good variety and well-crafted. We’ll definitely be back!
