North Hill Donuts

Many great reviews for the donuts. Stopped in and was able to get a few to go. The counter seating was roped off as there was no dining in. I'm not sure if that was only for today or no dining in at all. The donuts were very good.

The owner of the last 20 years was in when I went yesterday, and I got the hear the story of how this place got started. I also came to understand why these doughnuts actually taste good (made on site daily). I will try very hard to go here, and not a chain, whenever I can help it.

Ohmymy ! These donuts are incredible ! When I worked for APS bus garage we would quite often stop at North Hill Donuts for a yummy donut and cup of coffee. Today, being in the neighborhood, I decided to stop by and get a very much missed FRENCH CRULLER . I was sooo excited to see they had 4 left ! Oh yeah, grabbed a half dozen and chatted with Louie for awhile . These donuts are made fresh daily on the premises and quite frankly the best donut you will EVER sink your teeth into ! Stop by , support your neighborhood mom & pop shop you’ll be so happy you did . Cash only .

Everytime I visit the old homestead in Akron, I stop by here to stock up on the best doughnuts in any state. I usually stay a week in Akron and I buy enough to last (although they never do). It’s very hard to find this kind of old-fashioned quality. I’m glad I only come once a year because I wouldn’t fit through the door if I still lived in Akron. If you’re craving a doughnut, come here. Worth the trip from anywhere in Akron/Canton area.
