NEVER go here for tax preparation. Unless you want to wait and get lied to and jerked around for MONTHS! Long story but 100% terrible experience. Took taxes in March with plenty of time to file. Met with Brian, who said no problem and would get them filed timely. April comes, and still nothing. No returned phone calls and false promises that they would file BEFORE the extended hurricane deadline. RIght before the tax deadline, WE FINALLY get a call from a guy named Liam (after we reached out several times) and said he needs to file an extension. Absolutely 0 reason for this due to our pretty simple return. Skip to August with several phone calls and unreturned voicemails. EVERY time we did talk to someone, they would say it will be done today etc etc.. it was almost like they were good at

I asked NGA to prepare my federal and NC state 2024 tax returns. The returns were not complicated and similar info was used by an AARP volunteer in previous years and completed within an hour. It took NGA 6 weeks; I had to inquire twice about the status; and was charged more than I thought I had been told, and then discovered that the bank account routing number put on my federal return was entered incorrectly requiring NGA to call the IRS with the correct info, but that mistake will now require paper checks to be mailed to me after the electronic deposits are rejected by my bank. Thus, adding more time waiting for all this to be finalized. If you want accurate, efficient and cost effective tax prep services….look elsewhere as I intend to do for next year.

Brian and his team do a great job. Very easy to work with and they take care of everything for us. I just bring all the forms in and let them work their” magic” . I feel that they stay on top of all the tax codes that are constantly changing which in turn benefits us. We have used them for the last several years and have been very satisfied.
