Food was tasty, fresh and portions were plentiful. I love watching my food being prepared. One tip is wear hair nets. I got hair in my sauce. I didn't complain but that's when I noticed they weren't being worn however, it matched the waitress not the cooks. Other than that everything was great.

Great first-time experience at this well-established local business. Please give this great business an opportunity if you haven't already. The restaurant is located on a great segment of North Ave. It's very walkable, with plenty of businesses around. This is a main street, basically. I visited on a Friday afternoon and waited about 15 minutes for a table. The waiting area is small; there are two benches for waiting. I tried the Fish Fry Platter, which is basically a sampler of all their different types of fish fry. The food was good and came out piping hot. I loved the fries, and the in-house tartar sauce was also very good. If you visit on a Friday, I highly recommend the Fish Fry. It's good and not at all fishy. Wow… is definitely a word I can use to describe this place. This is a cozy little restaurant with absolutely delicious food. A nice variety of items on the menu. Great service and attentive staff. The atmosphere is great. The major negative is that it’s not located on the south side where I am. You literally feel like you went into a small town Mom and Pop diner that has been serving food created from their family recipes…. and you are just privileged to have been able to stop in and experience it. Amazing portion sizes. The Cubano sandwich was absolutely one of the best I’ve ever had. The salads were amazing as was the club sandwich. I feel sorry for all the other restaurants nearby as this should be your only go to place. You will love it.

This has been my go to place for over a decade! Everything they serve there is simply the best in taste and freshness! Try there Philly Cheese Steak, Cuban sandwich, and there Friday fish fry is the best I always get the Walleye beer batter fried!! The service is the best too the waitress are so very courteous and professional!! I've never had a bad experience in all the years I've been going there!! I highly recommend this place!
