Nori Handroll Bar & Sushi

The seafood here is fresh. The service is attentive. I’ve been a few times where the wait was around 20+ minutes even with a reservation but mostly because people overstay their welcome and they’re a small place. However once you’re seated the service is kind and pretty attentive. They have decent handrolls and a good selection of nigiri and cocktails. Nori Gimlet deserves an honorable mention. Sushi can be expensive especially in Dallas but I’d consider this one of my top favorite places to go eat consistently good nigiri. Not ideal for groups since its bar seating so 1-3 party would be more of a sweet spot.

First time here but definitely not the last. The meticulous attention to beauty and detail here makes for a most savory and pleasurable experience. The seafood is fresh, the concoctions are strategically tasteful as was the presentation, but the outcomes were devine.

This place was an absolute experience. The atmosphere was perfect for the omakase feel. The food was top notch and the tuna trio made my day. They had many special items from many different oceans and the Gruntfish was fantastic. Their specialty cocktails were also, so much fun! Cant wait to go back!

I’ve lived in NYC my entire life and eaten sushi at countless places, but Nori Handroll Sushi still stands out as one of my favorite spots I’ve ever visited. Their Teriyaki Set Menu is brilliant — it encourages you to try different rolls at various price points, which led me to sample things I never would have ordered individually. I went with the Starving Set and loved every bite, plus I tried a few à la carte pieces and was genuinely happy with them all. The service was great — there was always someone available to answer questions and make recommendations. I also enjoyed the Dublin Founder’s Cola, which was on the sweeter side but had a great old-school cola taste. And I’m so glad I ordered the Wagyu Nigiri — I’ve only had A5 Wagyu a couple of times in my life, and it’s always a treat.

Nori Handroll Bar is spectacular!! Starting off with service, they are incredibly fun, kind, and talented folks here! We even found out the chef we were talking to was the owner, he was so kind!! Took the time to tell us all about the ingredients, where they came from, you could tell the pride he has in the food! And the food was phenomenal!! Super high quality, deliciously paired ingredients and combos, it was such fun dining here we've been several weeks in a row! What to get? ALL OF IT. You can't go wrong! Lots of photos!!
