Noonie's Deli

Passing through Middlebury? Stop at Noonie’s for lunch. They offer a wide range of sandwiches and salads, plus a build-your-own option. Service is quick and attentive. I tried the BBQ Chicken and the Sweet of Relay—both were excellent. Portions are large, so sharing one is realistic.

The winds have been whispering and telling me to go try out Noonies, a sandwich bar right by flatbread! As you walk in you are accosted with SO many options (vegetarians watch out: there are not many options for you, my two friends couldn't find anything really for them and went somewhere else). After much pondering I finally decided on “Sweet on the Relay” a HOT sandwich with: Turkey, Bacon, Caramelised onions, melted cheddar, lettuce, tomato and apricot jam (this seriously sealed the deal) all on ciabatta. SO GOOD!!! R U KIDDING?! I devoured this and I need to try everything else!

Amazing sandwiches however you need to be very hungry before ordering! Big portions, decent prices, amazing ingredients! A+

Huge portions! You know the old saying "Never Trust a Skinny Chef"? You don't have to worry about that here! Excellent sandwiches for us weary travelers! My BLT sandwich was to die for!

I have been here a few times now and each time the food was great! This is an inexpensive place for a quick bite to eat. They have mostly sandwiches but a few soup and salad options as well. It can get pretty busy around lunch time on a week day. They have a cute seating area upstairs that stays nice and toasty even when it is cold outside. On nicer days, there are a few picnic tables outside and you can sit near the water and watch the falls. Easily within walking distance of the Middlebury farmer's market and "downtown" Middlebury.
