We had a lovely dinner here on Friday night. There was a show at the paramount so the place was very busy when we arrived around 6:30 but it cleared out pretty quickly after we arrived. The noise volume dimmed considerably, but wasn’t too bad even with the place pretty well full while we were waiting for our table. The owner showed us a nice nook where we could enjoy our drink from the bar and we thought it was very nice that he took the time to introduce himself and chat with us personally. Our waitress was very pleasant and we were brought bread promptly as we were seated. We didn’t wait long to have our appetizer order taken, and our food order taken shortly thereafter. We got the calamari as an appetizer and it was excellent . We both decided on the build your own pasta plate. I g
We came here a few weeks ago before we went and saw the show A Taste Of Ireland at the Paramount and it was amazing, we got there at 5 and left at perfect time before the show didn’t wait at all. We got waited on by both the bar tenders and they were very organized and great, so was the younger busser girl working she was so sweet and friendly. I got the ceaser salad and it was massive, so yummy! But when my husband got his chicken Alfredo and though the sauce was very good the chicken was not!!! It seemed dry and burnt, but overall good experience.
The food was excellent and our server was seriously one of the best I've ever had. I wish I could remember his name. The chicken Parm was perfect and the lasagna was very very good. The fried provolone was a tasty twist of an appetizer. I'll definitely be back.
Our dinner there was decent. They are generous with the garlic bread and the service was great! However the manicotti filling was flavorless and our ancient grains salad was a cup of hummus with sysco greens on it. Not worth 60 dollars for two people.
The calamari was cooked well but was bland. Our soup and side salads were never served. The pasta dishes we ordered tasted mostly of butter with very little seasoning. It may be considered good italian for the area, but if you have traveled much at all, it's average at best.
