Nona's Homemade, Hanover

Purchased a quart the other day in Hanover. After having some, I thought it deserved a five star review. Really the best bowl of ice cream I had all Summer!!!!!!!! Keep up the good work.

We lived within walking distance of downtown Hingham for eleven years and grew to love Nona's ice cream. We now live in Hanover and have visited the shop in Previte's at least 25 times since it opened. Their ice cream is still really, really good and for the price, hard to beat. Further, the woman who works days and some nights--and I feel terribly not remembering her name because she remembers us each time we come--is wonderful. Always friendly, making suggestions, and again, remembering who we are. A rarity these days among businesses. All said, HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We’re on an adventure to try all of the homemade ice cream places near us. This was our first and I don’t know how any other could compare to this one. Delicious, creamy, perfectly flavored.

My son, perhaps the biggest Nona’s fan on the planet, wanted me to give it a 5 star review! We live close to the Scituate location, but went to Hanover since Scituate is closed on Mondays. He was thrilled they had his fave flavor (chocolate Oreo) and he’s very impressed with the awesome takeout section. As always, we love you, Nonas.
