Customer Reviews
What a gem! This restaurant was warm and welcoming from the moment we walked. I was spotlessly clean, with attentive and friendly service throughout our visit. My husband was especially impressed by the abundance of gluten-free options, all clearly marked on the menu, which made ordering easy and stress-free. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch paired with some very good wine. We ordered the teriyaki chicken plate and the caprese salad, and both dishes were thoughtfully prepared with fresh, high quality ingredients. Everything was well-balanced, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Overall, it was a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience, and can't wait to return.
I'm not sure why the ratings are so high as we didn't have the best experience. First off, the food is fine (we had two sandwiches) but the price seemed too high for what we got. And the plates were quite plain. ...just the sandwich, nothing else. Maybe had there been a small handful of chips or salad, we would have felt differently, but when we're saying to ourselves, "that would have been good, but at a lower price" then clearly something is throwing us off. (Also, $3.50 for a can of Coke and $4 for a can of bubbly water seems a bit extreme, but we weren't really thinking about that when ordering, because we assumed, based on the reviews, that we were going to be quite happy with the experience.) And as a professional food writer for a decade, I get that food, labor, and rent costs
We were so excited to try Nikki’s and it lived up to the hype! The matcha latte was delicious (they offer oat and almond milk versions), and the cubano hit the spot. Great vegetarian/vegan selections as well. The staff were friendly and accommodated my food allergies.
The strawberry matcha and service were excellent! We also enjoyed the chicken teriyaki panini and special roast beef with horseradish panini. We will be back soon!
I dont understand how a cafe keeps it doors proped open during winter. Place was cold inside. WE had to ask to close hr doors in winter! Food was disappointing. I've had many steak cheese subs over the years many years, But this PNW cheesesteak was dissapointing and more like a flat fried cuban sandwich. I mean, Who make chessessteak sub with flat fried bread! NEWSFLASH: non one. Hardly any steak & cheese and it was mostly two flat, fried pieces of bread. In fact, I would say this was the one of the most disspointing chessesteak subs ever. Flavor was gone. I wont be going back.
