Niceville Public Library

There’s a children’s room with a classroom. Everything is labeled so you can easily find what you’re looking for. The staff is friendly. The only drawback is there’s not a lot of study rooms. This library is also a safe place.

Came to the library to study and there was a playground atmosphere consisting of many kids. I understand school is out but parents apparently dont teach and library staff dont enforce quiet space (in other words shhhhssshh). One front desk staff was louder than the rambunctious children. So much for getting any studying done..

Finally went in and got my library card! Tara helped and was friendly and informed us of everything we needed. She was a joy to meet! The library isn't the biggest but is very clean, neat and has a great selection. Happy to finally be able to stop by and get some books!

The friendly front desk staff can always point me in the right direction for whatever my book queries. Also, they make a point of getting whatever item I need, lending, and contact me when I can pickup my book. Great people! I picked up a couple of DVDs and bought an art print by Kara Roy to support our Boggy Bayou fireworks.

Love going here but if you want it to be quieter, you need to go before kids get out of school. It's not crazy loud but even the slightest noise can deter a good reading.
