Pounders Hawaiian Grill - Niceville

Y’all- are you seeing this chicken?? A beautiful char, gorgeous, smoky sweet flavor… Moist pieces of meat, generously arranged on top of a bed of lettuce and delicious balls of rice… I’m not quite sure how they do it, but this is exactly what we needed as we start to escort in the spring’s rainy weather - a neighborhood spot for sure- love it. We can't say enough about the food we ate at the Niceville location. This place was recommended to us by The Jackson Experience food truck, and it was the best all around food we ate during our Anniversary trip. Garlic chicken, teriyaki chicken, brown rice, grilled vegetables... EVERYTHING was amazing, and so was Hannah. We're from Alabama, and are hoping that the Pensacola location will be just as good.

Been wanting to try for a while and finally did and this place lives up to everything we’ve been hearing. We got the chicken, double protein with the rice and macaroni salad (great recommendation from Addi who was working)YUM! We actually got some of the macaroni salad to go it was that good. The service was fantastic!! Addi went out of her way to give suggestions and helped get us everything we needed and coming by at the perfect time to help clear our plates when we were done. We will definitely be coming back. Also love the options of the Hawaiian juices. That was a hit for mom!

Food is greatttt; love the garlic chicken and steak! The sauce over the rice with veggies is the best. The guy that took our order was so sweet and recommended the Hawaiian Sun drink he enjoyed most. Will definitely be back!

We normally get take out from the Niceville Pounders location, but opted to dine in tonight, going very early. (Around 3:30 PM local time.) We ordered two "Pounders" for five adults to share family style, and left with enough leftovers for another two or three meals. The meats were a mix of Teriyaki Steak, Teriyaki Chicken and Kahlua Pig, along with macaroni salad and both white and brown rice. We were able to order very soon after entering the restaurant, and our food was brought out to us very quickly. The food portions were, as always, very generous, and the taste of every item was out of this world. As always! After finishing our meals, we were able to stay at the table for an extended time and casually discuss things that we wanted to, and never felt as though we were hurried i
