Newport Officers' Club - US MILITARY BASE

Fresh food and great prices! The staff are lovely and there is plenty of seating. I loved getting to try the seasonal pumpkin beer from Shipyard brewing.

I photographed a wedding at the Newport Officers’ Club in Newport, RI, and it was absolutely beautiful. The waterfront views are stunning, providing an incredible backdrop for wedding photos and an unforgettable setting for both ceremonies and receptions. The event space is bright and airy, with plenty of room for guests to celebrate in comfort while still enjoying the coastal scenery. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and organized, ensuring the entire day went smoothly. As a professional wedding photographer, I can confidently say the Newport Officers’ Club is a fantastic choice for couples who want a relaxed yet elegant wedding with some of the best ocean views in Rhode Island.

The food was delicious! This O Club was more of a bar than a family-friendly restaurant than a lot of other O Club's. The portions were huge and I think they could cut the portions AND the prices in half and we would go more often. Great view!

First of all, you will need access to the base but if you do, definitely recommend the O club for lunch. They have a great selection of foods and drinks with several beers on tap. The view from the patio looking out over the water with the Pell bridge in the background is fantastic (patio closed during colder months). Love this place and will be back for more.
