New York Fries Smith Haven

What a great place in the smithaven mall! Food was fast, delicious and price point was spot on! The young man who took my order was all smiles and just a delight. What a bright spot in my day. Don't normally write reviews but this place made me want to share my positive experience!

I've never had quite the experience at a food establishment in a food court like I have at NY Fries! Customer service was outstanding. But the true experience was with the fries themselves, I never had fries so fresh and crispy as these. The perfect balance of crunch and saltiness is like nothing I've ever had. And vast variety of toppings are unmatched. My personal favorite are the Bacon and double cheese topped over the salty and crunchy french fries were amazing! I love going to this place any chance I can.

I originally walked over to look at the menu but the employees were so charismatic and helpful I felt encouraged to try a hotdog and the fully loaded fries. I can honestly say I’m very happy I did. The hot dogs were a nice size and piled high with toppings with every flavor coming through in each bite. The French fries were even better super messy and the carton was packed with fries. I really appreciate that my fries weren’t drowning in the gravy all the while each one was coated in a nice layer. All the food was hot fresh and absolutely delicious.

The food is good. I mean, it's fries. It doesnt take a savant to enjoy them. Theyre reasonably priced, quick and they taste good. Its possible my eyes deceived me a bit but I had a little trouble imagining someone eating the small size because it kind of reminded me of the size of a value container of chicken nuggets, but for 8$ (which is kind of pricy for the size IMO). but 10$ was a (regular) normal size portion, and the plate was pretty full, so I was happy with the chili cheese fries. Maybe having a regular plate split between two small children is fine for the price. I only really noticed because I wasn't that hungry the day I was here. Ive eaten the poutine here before both at Smithhaven and in Canada. Real friendly guys at the counter.
