New York Bagels LA

Lived in Whittier for over 20 years and never was able to try this place. Seems like they were closed every time I drove by and never really thought to stop by for a bagel. Anyway, driving by around 12:30 and saw they were open, so I made a u turn and dropped in. Glad I did! Bagels were not warm, but were fresh. Very Soft and airy. Cream cheese was very light too. Very different from what I’m used to. I wouldn’t say they were truly NY style, since they didn’t have the chewy outside and less dense, but really liked them. Service was very nice too. Ordered four bagels, but found they snuck in an extra one when I got home :). Very kind. Prices per bagel were really great too. So much better than grocery baked bagels. Only wish I was closer now, but happy to grab a few every time I’m in town.

Great tasting bagels for a very affordable price. Even the day old bagels are really good and they give you some pretty good flavors. We really enjoy the plain and the sesame bagels the most.

Ordered via Grubhub, so I had no clue about their bagesls, went in blind! So glad I did, these are the best bagels I had in a looong time! Fresh, soft, airy, order 6 plain and 6 jalapeno cheese, plain cream cheese, veggie and jalapeno cream cheeses. The veggie cream cheese was the bomb! Fresh carrots, celery, green onions and all the veggies were still crunchy! Jalapeno Cream cheese had fresh jalapenos and it was tasty, not too spicy. Maybe make a Habanero Cream Cheese for those of us that like it hot! Thank you again for slicing the bagels a service they charge for, but since I order via Grubhub there wasn't an option for slicing the bagels, called it in and they did a one time slice on my bagels! Thank you for your great food and customer service, you have a new regular customer!

First time at New York Bagels LA! Looks way different than your typical Bagel shop. Good music and bagels were delicious. I had the Lox Bagel and Jalapeño cheddar with cream cheese. When there's a line be prepared to wait about 10+ minutes for your order, but worth the wait. Definitely coming back for the Lox Bagel again!

We really enjoy and very happy to have fresh baked bagels available in our neighborhood. Friendly staff. Breakfast bagels available. Cream cheeses selections. Limited seating so mostly takeout. But it is worth a visit if you want a good fresh bagel. Very good selection and prices. Plenty of parking. Located in industrial park facing Washington Blvd. Worth a visit.
