New Rainbow

Most novels that are considered aren't written. By most I mean the vast majority, and even fewer of those that are written ever reach a publishing house. Fewer than that are seriously considered for publication and almost none of them are read by you. What's it like, oh great knower of a world all to yourself? A lifetime experience only you can truly know. When you consider all options in the fullness of your life, does it include a meal from New Rainbow? My did and I don't regret it. The meal may be called General Tso's but this one was as mine as any.

Exact copy of every takeout chinese restaurant! Faded menu, Stained acoustic ceiling tiles baskets of condiments on the end of the counter and Children doing homework in the corner booth. The food is Solid American chinese food. Roast Pork LoMein is spot on delicious! Nothing else overly awesome but, definitely decent. Service is quick and efficient and if you tip they practically force you to take something extra home with you. Sweet tea, extra crispy noodles or sugar Donuts. They are really the only game in town so there is that. I'm glad they are as good as they are because otherwise it's a 15 minute trip into Fuquay-Varina for my chinese food cravings. Seriously, my only real complaint is no delivery option. Not even Doordash, Uber eats or postmates, nothing! Coming from Long Island

I have ordered from this location several times. I will agree with other customers that friendly politeness does not exist here. However as long as the food is delicious 🤤😋 keep it rude. 🤣😂 I have made the same order of chicken wings with shrimp fried rice a few times which caused a bit of annoyance on their end. The last time I changed it to house fried rice and received pork fried rice. Which only matters because of the price difference. I want what I paid for. So if you can get past the attitude and checking your order for the correct order I highly recommend. ❤️😍🥰

I love the food here! I've tried several of the menu items. I'd recommend any variation of the rice. I've had the chicken lo mein, the honey chicken, the happy family, the chicken and mushrooms, and the sweet and sour chicken. Each meal was fantastic! I'd definitely recommend it.

This place has fallen off a steep cliff the last couple years. What used to be tasty takeout has turned into foul smelling and tasting food. Last time here!
