New Palace Bakery

Several friends and I tried a bunch of paczki while making our way around Detroit. The service was super kind and prompt, and the paczki were absolutely scrumptious. Thanks New Palace Bakery!

This was the first stop of our food tour and the Pączkis were SO good. The shop is full of culture and so many varieties of pastries. The lady running the shop was sweet and happy to teach us about the pastries.

This was my first time going into the bakery. I wanted to try their packzi. OMG they didn't disappoint. If you only had store bought packzi, you haven't had a real packzi. The fact that they sell them year round is a plus. It was round (not flat), fresh, soft, and they filled it with filling. It definitely won't be my last time there. A wonderful experience.

Wow, what an awesome place! The 2 women behind the counter were so friendly and down to Earth. The Pączki (pronounced pownch-key) were awesome as well we bought several different flavors and each one of them was so GOOD we'll definitely be back!

A true hidden gem ! The best rye bread in the metro area , solid pastries and Slavic treats too ! Always pleasant staff ! They even take custom bread orders for larger quantities and double bagged for travel. Thank you so much for continuing the tradition.
