New Green Jade

I want to say it's really good... Its just different. The only way I can explain it is, the food seems more home made than other chinese food places. So, it sort of tastes different, but not in a bad way. Just different. Honestly, you have to try this place out at least once and see what you think.

Been a customer since before Green Jade burnt down and re opened.Got takeout 1/21/26. Simple order, quart of chicken rice soup and chicken chow fun. Got home with the order. Received a pint of soup not a quart and the chow fun was horrendous. The chicken was under cooked. The cow fun went right into the garbage. This place has gone way down hill. The inside was cold and dirty and the people who run the place are zombies. zero warm customer service and not friendly. Run from this place what a total waste of money.

Everything is legit here, order ahead of time for sure. They are busy if you walk in an do take out. Super authentic Chinese (make sure to order Lo Mein if you want americanized chow mein). Orange chicken special is under "specials". Salt and pepper chicken is lightly grilled and crunchy!

Ordered dinner for the family here this evening and received the most disgusting slop I've ever received from a restaurant. Egg rolls were burnt, sweet and sour chicken was discolored and smelled like it was cooked in fish oil, boneless ribs were just unseasoned unsauced shredded beef with like 2 spots of sauce around the edge of the Tupperware container and even the dog wouldn't touch any of it. I will stick to Chinatown kitchen in Montgomery and great wall of Newburgh from now on and never waste money here again.

The NEW green jade is definitely NEW regarding food quality. The food is delicious and cooked perfectly. I definitely will order food again. I just hope they continue to serve great food.
